Certified Quality!

TÜV / Safety

Your safety with Diesel Torque's chip tuning products rests on 6 strong foundations:

We develop and test our products in extensive trials.
TÜV / Safety - DTE dieseltorque No.1

Foundation 1: Programs tried and tested on the test bench and in everyday use

The safety of our products is our top priority. Developments and improvements are carried out only on new vehicles. Data for software modifications are determined solely on a test bench. Only thoroughly tested programs find their way into your car: they have demonstrated their suitability for everyday use and engine compatibility in a series of elaborate trials. All the protection functions of the engines control unit and the electronic fault diagnostics for use during servicing are maintained in your vehicle and the exhaust emission levels are not exceeded.

We are partners of KÜS Germany.

Foundation 2: Not to the limit!

Our philosophy is "healthy tuning"taking advantage of possible tolerances, but in the process, our goal is not the maximum possible but the wear-free optimum.

Foundation 3: Made in Germany

16 years providing the highest quality in diesel torque.

All products and programs are produced by ourselves, and to the highest safety and quality standards that apply in Germany.

Foundation 4: Member of the non - profit Association of German Automobile Tuners (the VDAT)

Prof. Bodo Buschmann, President of the Association of German Automobile Tuners has summarised the benefit of our membership in VDAT as follows: "Tuning customers should look for the VDAT Seal of Approval when buying. This is where the consumer can immediately see that this is a quality product from VDAT member. Demanding admission criteria and continuous self-control ensure that from VDAT members, customers acquire superior products without sacrificing any safety, in fact tuning that is signed and sealed." That is our aim at DTE Systems and Diesel Torque!

That is our aim at DTE Systems, too!

Foundation 5: Comprehensive Warranty

We provide comprehensive warranties that far exceed what the law requires in terms of your satisfaction, our products and also the integrity of your vehicle.

Foundation 6: TUV Component Certificate included

Most tuning kits come with a model-specific TUV Component Certificate included. With it, the required modification approval can be easily carried out at any Test Centre. This inspection only takes a few minutes and is conducted for instance by a TUV, DEKRA or KUS inspector. So using the vehicle legally is no problem and does not require an enormously complex and expensive individual inspection (as per Art.21 StVZo[Road Traffic Licencing Regulations]).

All the TUV Component Certificates commissioned by us are issued by a recognised testing organisation that is accredited by the Federal Motor Vehicle Authority. Accordingly all of our TUV Component Certificates are fully valid in Germany and Austria, and are accepted by any recognised Test Centre. In our shop, please look carefully whether a reference to "TUV Component Certificate available" is visible!

Just ask us whether a technical survey report is available. TÜV Certification is constantly being undertaken by us for many more vehicles or are in preparation. Read for yourself how the TÜV or similar testing institutions confirm that our products improve performance, compatibility with respect to driving behaviour and compliance with emission values. Here you can view an example of such a survey report: TÜV Component Certificate.

Clarification of MOT and insurance - is this really necessary?Yes! Without a TÜV Component Certificate, the installation means that the general Roadworthiness Certificate of the entire car becomes invalid. Approved use by revalidating the general Roadworthiness Certificate is only possible by means of an individual inspection with a demonstration at a competent inspection service according to Art. 21 of StVZO [Road Traffic Licencing Regulations].

Legal Notices

In this context, we draw your attention to the fact that operating a vehicle without going through modification approval by the TÜV or a similar testing institution, as well as entering it in the vehicle documents, leads not only to the loss of the general Roadworthiness Certificate of the vehicle, but consequently also leads to the loss of insurance cover. Furthermore, any increase in performance due to chip tuning can affect statutory warranty claims against the seller or warranty claims against the manufacturer.
